Community Collective Society for Integrated Development (CCFID) is a livelihood promotion agency to facilitate the development of marginalized and poor families through livelihood promotion activities

CCFID was set up in the year 2004 and is registered under the Societies Registration Act (1860) of India. CCFID's operational area covers Karaikal and Puducherry in the Union Territory of Puducherry and Cuddalore and Vellore districts in Tamil Nadu. The organisation now reaches out to over 7,000 families in these regions.

Latest Projects

Polyculture, water crab fattening enterprise is being undertaken by tsunami affected fisher folks (women) in Killai, Cuddalore where the livelihood of fisher folk was completely wiped out in the December 2004 tsunami. CCFID is supporting the women to implement this ADB and CARE India supported project and has facilitated the setting up of a Water Crab Federation. The Federation would take up aggregation, market linkage and financial linkage activities.
